Ishara Tented Lodge is not your regular tourist business. It is a Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) set up specifically to generate income for the disability unit of our school.
Catering for children with such disabilities is a huge challenge in Tanzanian society where such children are typically hidden out of sight. We seek to address this challenge by building community awareness and providing a supportive and secure environment for these children to grow and develop holistically.
